About the Authors
David Bahde is a fulltime firearm instructor, tactical consultant, and writer. His work regularly appears on Tactical-Life.com and Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement, among others. He contributed chapters 1, 8, 9, and 17 for Armed & Smarter.
David Hunter Jones has packed a pistol since legally able to do so. He’s an avid hunter, shooter, and outdoorsman, and his work has appeared in Bassmaster and on OutdoorChannel.com, among others. He lives in Alabama with his wife, Carolyn, and son, Hunter. He contributed various portions of Armed & Smarter, including chapters 4, 9, 11, and 12 and Parts I and II of the Introduction.
Paul Markel is the host for the Sportsman Channel’s series Student of the Gun and operates the Student of the Gun University training program. He has extensive military and law enforcement experience and now spends much of his time writing about firearms technique and safety for various publications. He contributed chapters 2, 5, 6, 9 and 14 and Part III of the Introduction for Armed & Smarter.
