Morphix Technologies, an innovator in the science of detection devices for dangerous chemicals, has created the TraceX Explosives Detection Training Kit. The kit was developed for military, law enforcement and intelligence personnel training facilities and schools in response to the increasing need for homemade explosive material detection training. While once the domain of international terrorist organizations, bombs are now a threat from local, home-grown terrorists as well. Sadly, Home Made Explosives, also known as HMEs, and Improvised Explosive Devices, known as IEDs, have become a fact of modern life. Military, law enforcement and intelligence personnel have a dual-role: uncovering the bomb networks before the bombers do harm, and investigating an incident after it occurs. More military, officer and intelligence personnel training programs include courses that provide critical knowledge on HME and IED scenarios and how to respond to them.
Training is simple with the new, affordable and easy-to-use TraceX® Explosives Detection Training Kit. Each Training Kit is provided in a sealed pack containing one TraceX® Explosives Detection Kit, the Training Kit Operating Instructions, a blue plastic film and a foil bag labeled “citric acid powder.”
To use the Training Kit, simply lay the blue plastic film on a flat surface and tear the foil bag open at the notch. Pour the citric acid contained in the bag evenly across the blue plastic film. Operate the kit by following the 10 Steps in the Operating Instructions. In Step 10, the acid pad will change color. The Training Kit is as simple as that to use!
