Lucas Oil IFA Pro-Am Redfish Challenge Presented by Cabela’s Heads to Slidell, Louisiana, Sept 12-14

Some of the best professional inshore anglers and co-anglers will converge on Slidell, Louisiana, for the Lucas Oil IFA Pro-Am Redfish Challenge Presented by Cabela’s on Sept. 12-14. This high-stakes, made-for-TV competition is the last of three pro-am events set for 2014. The three-day format features 100-percent cash payout guaranteed.
The event will operate out of The Dock (118 Harbor View Ct., Slidell, LA 70458). Activities will begin on Thursday, Sept. 11, with tournament registration at The Dock from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with the Pairings Meeting to follow at 7 p.m. Anglers will launch from The Dock at safe light and return to the same location for each day’s weigh-in. Check-in times will be assigned at registration.
With over 100-percent cash payout guaranteed, this year’s tournament series has expanded to include three events in 2014: Chalmette, La., on March 28-30, Jacksonville, Fla. on July 25-27 and Slidell, La., on Sept. 12-14. All three events will be limited to a field size of approximately 25 pro and co-anglers and will feature a minimum guaranteed payout of $55,000 on the pro-side, including $25,000 for first place, and $12,500 guaranteed payout for co-anglers with a $4,000 first-place prize. The events also feature a shared weight format (two fish per day/boat) and will be broadcast to over 120 million combined TV households on NBC Sports Outdoors, Pursuit Channel, the Texas Channel and Fox Sports Net Southwest.
