SureFire LLC, manufacturer of high-end illumination tools and tactical products congratulates Team SureFire members, Mike Voigt and Maggie Reese on their outstanding performance at the USPSA Handgun Nationals. Mike Voigt took home the High Senior Trophy in Open Division and placed 12th overall, while Maggie placed 3rd in the Ladies Category of Production Division.

The annual USPSA Handgun Nationals, held at the Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park in St George, Utah, took place September 22-28. Over 500 shooters negotiated 28 challenging practical pistol stages, which included standards exercises as well as run-and-gun courses of fire. Paper and steel targets, sometimes partially obscured by penalty targets and hard cover, are used, as are moving and swinging targets. Walls, ports, and barricades force shooters into awkward shooting positions and test their ability to quickly and accurately negotiate the course. Competitors are scored on a points divided by time basis; the most points in the shortest amount of time wins.

The United States Practical Shooting Association is a non-profit membership association and the national governing body for the sport of Practical Shooting in America. USPSA has over 25,000 members and over 400 affiliated clubs which host weekly matches throughout the country providing recreational shooters with the opportunity to test and refine their shooting skills in a safe, competitive environment. USPSA is also the U.S. Region of the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC), which is comprised of approximately 67 nations. For more information, visit
