Turnbull Restoration and Manufacturing of East Bloomfield, New York are set to appear on Discovery Communications, The Science Channel’s show “How Its Made”. The two-part segment entitled “Firearms Restoration” follows the craftsman at Turnbull as they restore a Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle.

Turnbull gunsmiths do a complete restoration on a vintage Winchester rifle which includes carving a new stock and forend, polishing and refinishing all of the metal parts using techniques employed by the original manufacturer more than 100 years ago.

The segments will air at 9:00 PM EST on Friday, October 17, 2014.
