The Outdoor Option Team Makes Major Food Donation

The Outdoor Option TV show, a family oriented hunting and fishing program, donated almost 200 pounds of ground elk meat to the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio. Families from across the area will benefit.
“It’s important for us to give back to our community, and we’re proud to do it,” Co-host of The Outdoor Option TV show Dan Reaser said. “Shannon and Danny are both familiar with this great organization, having spent time volunteering in various Second Harvest efforts that make a difference. The need is great, and we know local families will benefit.”
“This donation will make a huge difference to our service area, which includes about 100 local hunger relief agencies. We’re talking about food pantries, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens,” said Second Harvest Food Resource Coordinator David Wiedenheft. “Let’s hope this encourages others to help.”
