Daniel Defense, the manufacturer of small arms and small-arms accessories, has become the title sponsor of SHOT Mobile for the 2015 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show).

SHOT Show attendees will find the SHOT Mobile app an invaluable tool for searching and locating exhibitors, navigating the show floor via interactive maps, finding new products, learning about show specials, viewing the show’s education schedule such as for SHOT Show University, setting up appointments with exhibitors, requesting callbacks and finding show services.

“We’re excited to have Daniel Defense as title sponsor for SHOT Mobile,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “Earlier this year, Daniel Defense was a major sponsor of our NSSF Industry Summit, and their sponsorship of SHOT Mobile confirms their standing as a leading company in our industry and one that supports all that SHOT Show and NSSF stand for.”

Known for its quality firearms, rail systems and accessories, Daniel Defense was started by President and CEO Marty Daniels at the start of the 21st Century. Since then, Daniel Defense has grown quickly and today has manufacturing facilities in Black Creek, Ga., and Ridgeland, S.C.

“We are excited about attending another SHOT Show, having the opportunity to showcase our newest offerings that will be available in 2015 and sponsoring one of the show’s most helpful tools-the SHOT Mobile app,” said Daniel Defense Director of Marketing Jordan Hunter.

The SHOT Show is owned and sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, and is produced and managed by ConvExx. The show is the largest of its kind in the world, attracting nearly 70,000 attendees and 1,600 companies exhibiting firearms, ammunition, outdoor apparel, law enforcement, optics, cutlery and related products and services.

In recognition of its support, the Daniel Defense logo will be featured on the splash screen of the SHOT Mobile app, on the SHOT Mobile webpage at shotmobile.com and at the iTunes Store, in addition to the company receiving other sponsorship and text-messaging advantages.

Users can visit shotmobile.com, where they will be directed to the version developed for their device. Native apps will be available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Blackberry and Windows smartphones will use an HTML5 mobile app. Sign up to be notified when the 2015 SHOT Mobile app is ready for download.

The SHOT Show will run January 20-23 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas. Learn more about the show at shotshow.org.
