Taurus International Manufacturing, Inc., the leading manufacturer of concealed carry and small frame pistols, congratulates the USA Ladies Open Team for their top performance at the 2014 World Shoot XVII.
The World Shoot is a major highlight in worldwide professional shooter’s careers. The action-packed event took place in Polk County, Florida on October 13th through the 19th at the Universal Shooting Academy. It is an experience of a lifetime for shooters with its 30 challenging stages that are as unique as the event itself. USA Ladies Open Team members Athena Lee, Lisa Munson, Kaci Cochran and Taurus Team Captain, Jessie Duff collected their talents to take home the Gold. The World Shoot XVII is held is every three years, and two years leading to the event, all four ladies had to qualify for their positions on the team.
“This World Shoot marks my second world competition, but my first time representing the USA, and I’m proud to say that the Ladies Open team brought home the Gold for the USA! This title represents our hard work and effort throughout the week, motivating and supporting one another when we needed it the most, and creating a friendship that will last a lifetime,home Gold for the USA! As the USA Ladies Open team climbed their way to the top, they were faced with many challenges along the way. With five days of shooting a variety of stages to test each shooters strengths and weaknesses, they also competed against the best Ladies Teams from around the world.
