Cat Injured in House Fire Befriends Deer

After this cat named Russell was injured in a house fire, he was taken to Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care for recovery. That’s where he met his new friend Darla, a young fawn that was admitted for rehabilitation. The two hit it off immediately and they have been comforting each other since they were admitted. We are hoping that they both have speedy recovery.
Russell’s also made several other friends at the hospital.

And of course, Russell the man has been showing Darla the ropes and sharing his bed. (Russell has recently been thinking of chewing his still healing ankles, so he did have to get his e-collar put back on.)
