In this clip, the last a series detailing where to find morels and when, Ohio State Park Naturalist Erin Shaw shows us how to positively identify edible morels and how to prepare them. There may be different subspecies of morels so it’s important to know what you have especially since false morels also exist. We also get to learn how to prepare morels so that nothing is wasted. We even get to learn how to save the spores for future use.
