The 2016 deer season is in full force, however we’re just getting to the most exciting time of year – the rut – and we’ve already seen some amazing deer harvested this year. Below is a list of our top early season bucks taken during this 2016 season so far.
Heartland Bowhunter on the board. Michael Hunsucker took this old, giant 9-point during Missouri’s early season in September.
2. Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz shot his first buck ever on a bye week of his rookie NFL season. (Which he is excelling in as well.)
Darrell Collison took this big, non-typical 36 point buck on his farm in Missouri.
4. Luke Maas
Another first timer, Luke Maas gets on the board for the 2016 season, taking this handsome Wisconsin 8-point.
Taylor got the “October lull” started with a bang, putting down this big 180″-class deer.
