Video: Florida Man Kisses Diamondback Rattlesnake, Gets Tongue Bit And Hospitalized

Florida authorities say a man tried to show a diamondback rattlesnake some love and affection – but got bitten on the tongue instead.

According to WTLV, Putnam County Fire Rescue responded to the 911 call and the man was conscious but had to be airlifted immediately to a nearby hospital.

Reports say the man had been drinking while handling the snake – which was seemingly calm at the time – but things took a deadly turn when the man made his move on the deadly reptile.

The unidentified man is now in critical condition in the hospital.
