We just saw a kayaker who got really lucky when a humpback whale nearly swallowed him and his kayak whole while he was paddling in Half Moon Bay, but that wasn’t nearly as close of a call as these folks got . . .
While boating near the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge between New York and New Jersey, a whale breached entirely too close to New Jersey native Paul Ziolkwoski’s boat, and the video will leave you speechless.
“This definitely was one of the craziest experiences in my life, and I’ve had many,” Ziolkowski reportedly wrote on his Facebook post.
If you watch closely, you can see a few fish being brought into the boat from the wave the whale made during its leap.
“I know it sounds like a fish story… but these #NewJersey waters are serious,” Ziolkowski joked on Facebook.
