Video: Co-Host of ‘The Virtue’ Involved in Serious Car Crash

This article is written with a heavy heart, but also some uplifting news about one of our favorite fellow outdoorsmen.
T.J. Unger, co-host of The Virtue, and OutdoorHub contributor, was involved in a car crash earlier this month, and was airlifted to a hospital after breaking “virtually every bone in his body.”
According to Wane, T.J. was following behind a dump truck on U.S. 24 when it slowed to make a left turn onto Old Fort Wayne Road. T.J. – with virtually zero time to react – slammed into the back of the dump truck, sending he and his vehicle rolling down the road at least once.
Indiana State Police, Huntington County Sheriff’s Dept., Huntington Police Department, the Huntington Township Fire Department and the Roanoke Fire Department were all on scene and assisted in extricating T.J. from his truck. Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to have been a factor.
