First Batch of Gander Outdoors Stores to Open in Early 2018

Gander Outdoors – the re-branded Gander Mountain – will be opening its doors early next year, according to a federal regulatory filing.

A detailed plan has been laid out by Camping World in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, which plans for Gander Outdoors to open its first 15-20 stores by the end of the first quarter on March 31, 2018. After that, we could see another 40-45 locations open up by the end of next year’s third quarter.

CEO Marcus Lemonis  – who we saw offer $25K for a logo re-design of Gander Outdoors – said during a conference call with investors back in August, “We believe to have a unique opportunity to expand into the broader outdoor lifestyle market and leverage our existing array of products and services.”
