There have been some good buck fights caught on camera this year, but watch what this guy just snuck up on.
While out checking trail cameras, Todd Anderson said he came across “one of the neatest things he’s ever encountered in the woods.”
Under cover of rainfall, Todd was able to sneak up on two mature bucks as they settled their differences.
“It was an intense thing to be so close to a couple of wild animals who had only one thing on their minds,” Todd stated in his Facebook post.
Few things in the woods beat the sound of two bucks banging head gear together; make sure you turn up the volume so you don’t miss it!
Here’s what happened in Todd’s own words:
“With the rain this morning I decided to go around and check all my trail cams. While walking through the farm I came across these two mature bucks in a knock-down drag-out fight. It was an intense thing to be so close to a couple of wild animals who had only one thing on their minds. Easily one of the neatest things I’ve encountered in the woods. Sorry for the bad footage, I’m just happy I had my phone with me to get what I did on video. I hope you enjoy.”
