Florida Golfers Find Python Entwined with Alligator and Half Swallowed

Seeing an alligator on a golf course is an every day occurrence for many Floridians, but the sight one group saw on the 10th hole at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek had social media buzzing: a python wrapped around an alligator with its head in the gator’s mouth.

Richard Nadler was among a number of golfers who witnessed the encounter, and his post on Facebook has now gained over 4K likes, and almost 25K shares.

“Wild day on the 10th hole today!” Nadler posted along with photos of the duo next to a lake. “That’s an alligator and a Burmese python entwined. The alligator seems to have the upper hand.”

The comments in the thread under Nadler’s post were instantly filled with memes and clever jokes about Florida and golfing:

“Spaghetti dinner!” wrote one Facebook user.

“Pretty sure this justifies taking a par and moving on,” another commented.

So we hopped on the trend, and offer Jeff Goldblum’s famous line in Jurassic Park as a fitting meme for this prehistoric wrestling match:
