Billionaire businessman, Elon Musk, recently posted a photo on Instagram that suggested he was getting involved in the flamethrower biz . . . and then they actually started flying off the shelves.
After the photo and a couple tweets went viral, Elon’s Boring Company reportedly sold over $4 million worth of flamethrowers – which go for $500 per unit.
When the zombie apocalypse happens, you’ll be glad you bought a flamethrower. Works against hordes of the undead or your money back!

Musk, spent a majority of the weekend publishing videos of himself brandishing the flamethrower – which gave us flashbacks of the X-15 flamethrower from Xmatter – as well as keeping his Twitter followers up to date with home many weapons had been sold:
1,000 ordered already, only 19,000 left!

And for anybody who questioned the legality of owning a flamethrower, Musk had a quick answer prepared, which shows his knowledge of ATF specifications:
ATF says any flamethrower with a flame shorter than 10 ft is A-ok. Our design is max fun for least danger. I’d be way more scared of a steak knife.

It should also be pointed out that this particular model is different from any other on the market, because it runs off propane instead of diesel.
