Video: Nest Security System Catches Black Bear Hauling Deer Across Backyard

A Nest security system captured incredible video of a black bear hauling a deer through the backyard of a Seattle, Washington home.

According to the Facebook post, a FoxQ13 viewer sent in the video from Woodinville, Washington. It shows a black bear briefly emerge from the woods to scope out the area, before carrying a deer carcass by it’s neck through the yard.

It isn’t clear whether the bear killed the deer itself or happened to find it already dead, but it certainly isn’t like a bear to let food go to waste. It likely dragged the deer for quite a while back to it’s den, and stashed the carcass for another meal later on.

It’s pretty amazing what these home security systems see on a daily basis, isn’t it?
