Stevens Debuts NEW 555E Over-and-Under 16 Gauge Shotgun

Stevens by Savage Arms has had a popular line of Over-and-Under shotguns for roughly 5 years now with their 555 series. The good quality, affordable price, and diverse shotgun caliber offerings have made them a hit with price-conscious consumers. They also have an improved or enhanced series dubbed the 555E Over-and-Under shotgun line. A NEW chambering being brought into the fold now is the 16 Gauge which has just debuted. All of the specifications you can come to expect for the 555E Over-and-Under 16 Gauge can be read below as presented by Stevens:

As you can see, the enhanced version of their standard model 555 is quite the looker. The Turkish walnut stock compliments the silver aluminum receiver beautifully and the cut checkering is a final masterful touch. By the looks of it you would tend to believe that the 555E is a $1,000+ shotgun, but it is actually much more affordable than that. Stevens and Savage Arms had this Press Release statement surrounding the debut of the 555E 16 Gauge:

“The field- and trap-tested platform is light and handles fast, thanks to a lightweight aluminum receiver that’s scaled to gauge and reinforced by a steel insert. It’s also loaded with features, including a stylish Turkish walnut stock and chrome-lined, 28-inch carbon steel barrels.”
